PLEASE STALK ME

So as it turns out, I don't normally post here all that much, unless I have some new photos or some shit to show you.

HOWEVER: I do have a twitter account which I post to at least half a dozen times a day. This is seriously the best way to get a handle on what I'm currently doing, since posting all this shit to my facebook makes me look like an asshole who loves to just shit up peoples' news feeds. And posting here means I have to be sitting at my computer. Which incidentally is a pretty rare occasion these days.

So IF YOU SERIOUSLY WANT TO: you can get a long hard grasp of my daily shit at

Yes, that IS my real name and some of my info plastered into the Internet. If I had anything to hide, I would have put more thought into it. OH WELL OH SHIT OH GOSH.

Anyway, stay unruly you heartless monsters.

ALEX.

TLDR: Follow me on twitter assholes.

Oh yeah.

And then I found this old picture of work from 2008. So enjoy...

SHITS ON THE UP AND UP

So I've landed a baller-ass job with the railway here in town. You would not believe the cheddar these motherfuckers get paid, and now I'm one of them. I'm so happy I could shit. I'll be able to stand on my own two feet again, as well as fund some new artwork, which I've really let slip in the last couple of months.

Here's hoping.

House time

Finally got myself a new pad after busting my ass 7 days a week. Which means I'll be able to shower regularly. This also means MORE UPDATES somehow. So all y'all can get right the fuck out of my grill.

Sorry, I'm totally smashed on Listerine.

LATER.

Still fixing things

I'm working with a few designer friends to decide what kind of aesthetic would work best with the site, but ultimately it's up to me to get the real work done and flex my design skills again. I've got a few side projects that I need to get the supplies for somehow, but the end result should be fine since I've still got a space to work in at the University.

Also removed comment moderation for the time being, so spam away knuckleheads. I'll have phots of the work done in the next couple of days.

James Jean

Ever since I first started getting into artwork, I was enamored with the works of illustrator James Jean. First hearing about him for his cover art on the graphic novel Fables, it was a short time later that I looked him up and was hooked. And since I've first started admiring his work it's gone through an intense series of changes, especially his non-commercial works.

His work circa 2006 was what got me started. Browsing through his gallery of work now is a real treat, and I long to be able to go to one of his shows. You should check him out at www.jamesjean.com.
